The adventure begins at your doorstep where our network of unspoiled and well-marked trails can be easily reached from the Lodge. Great day hikes include: Long Lake Trail, Smith Lake Trail, Graeagle Creek Trail, and Mt. Elwell Loop. Frazer Falls is an easy 1.4 mile hike round trip. Frazer Falls has an overall cascade of 248 feet with a waterfall of 176 feet. Sierra Buttes Trail and Deer Lake Trail can be accessed within a short drive from the Lodge. The Pacific Crest Trail can be easily reached via the Lakes Basin trail network. Dozens of lakes are also accessible by our well maintained trail system. We offer a variety of maps to assist you through the Lakes Basin wilderness. Dogs are allowed on trails with minimal leashing requirements. We partner with the Sierra Buttes Trail Stewardship in maintaining and building new trails. Ask us about participating in the $1 Sierra Trails program.
